Tomorrow is Imbolc!
It is one of the cross quarters in the wheel of the year. This is the mid-point between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox. The days are slowly starting to grow and so does our hunger for sunshine and new adventures. The Winter is a time of introspection and dreaming. Now, as we move along the wheel, we start to feel a stirring just as the roots below the surface do. The mindful musings of our Winter quietude start to seed into the direction we want to grow. We lean into hope, light and the promise of new growth. Anticipating what is to come.
Some ways to consider honoring the return of the sun;
  • Plan your Spring garden.
  • Clear out anything you no longer need in your home to make room for growth or simplicity.
  • Offer your home a blessing.
  • Watch the sun rise, maybe even meditate while waiting.
  • Take a cleansing ritual bath.
  • Feed the birds as they celebrate the dawn with their song.
  • Make an offering to the Earth as gratitude for all the blessings she will bring.
  • And of course, have a bonfire to help encourage the return of the Sun.
Thanks for giving a glance. Looking to the Sun.
You are so loved.

What Our Clients Say...

I just wanted to say again that I am so grateful to have found your studio, and I loved the meditation class! The last class was so perfect, and I really needed that time to create a clear mental space and let things flow. I have only painted a few times since childhood, and yet I always have to urge to. I bought a few supplies and colors I really liked and painted again yesterday along side my kiddos and it was so perfect! Thank you so much for the inspiration to let my creativity flow. I hope we can all get together at the cafe sometime soon.
